Kristan Kelly is expected to be appointed director of basketball operations for the Memphis Tigers by head coach Penny Hardaway.
Kelly will be just the second woman on Hardaway’s staff since he became the Tigers’ coach in 2018.
Jordan VerHulst, Memphis’ previous director of basketball operations, departed last month to take a position as an assistant coach at Murray State.
Prior to taking positions at San Jose State and Southern Illinois, where she was a senior associate AD, Kelly was Memphis’ compliance director from 2013 to 2021.
