LOCAL | Mississippi’s Tax Free Weekend Begins, Tennessee’s To Start On July 25

Mississippi’s tax-free weekend has arrived.

The only things that will be tax-free during this period are clothing, shoes, and school supplies that cost less than $100.

The sales tax holiday also applies to computers in several states, such as Arkansas and Tennessee but Mississippi does not include it.

Sunday marks the end of Mississippi’s tax-free weekend.

Next up is Tennessee, which starts its tax-free holiday on July 25. Arkansas’s tax-free weekend, which begins on August 2, completes the Mid-South.
