For a 1.8 mile stretch of Summer Avenue, drivers should expect delays beginning Monday, June 9th. Widening and a new bridge on Summer Avenue from I40 – Sycamore View will be complete in 2028. Until then, the four lanes will be reduced to one lane in each direction and will increase significance delays during morning and afternoon commutes.
