On Tuesday, three masked men entered a Whitehaven store with hammers, broke display cases, and fled with a bag full of jewelry. The Memphis Police Department is now looking for them.
Police arrived to Memphis Gold and Diamonds on Elvis Presley Boulevard to investigate the heist that occurred around 12:30 in the afternoon.
According to the police, two of the men broke display cases and put a “large amount” of jewelry in a black garbage bag, while the other man kept the employees at gunpoint.
After that, the suspects left the area on foot. It is currently unknown how much jewelry there is and the suspect’s whereabouts.
