In a social media post, the Memphis Fire Department stated that the fire that destroyed the Clayborn Temple on April 28, was set deliberately.
On Wednesday, the Memphis Fire Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms announced the findings of their joint investigation.
An image of the person of interest was also released.

The statement read, “Investigators have determined the fire was intentionally set on the interior of the historic church. A person of interest is being sought by investigators for their possible involvement in this fire.”
