John Calipari, a former Tiger and current Razorbacks head coach, announced Tuesday night that Memphis and Arkansas are working on setting up an exhibition game before the 2025–26 college basketball season.
The game would be expected to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and held in downtown at the FedExForum.
From 2000 until 2009, Calipari led the Tigers as their coach before leaving to accept the coaching position at Kentucky. He signed with Arkansas last spring.
Calipari was in Memphis for a Razorbacks fan event at Ghost River Brewery.
