A man with a beer bottle attacked a woman outside the Peabody hotel in Downtown Memphis on Wednesday night.
According to Memphis Police (MPD), a man wearing a blue shirt and blue pajama pants assaulted a woman who was walking outside the hotel at around 10:30 p.m.
Despite being struck in the head by a beer bottle, the woman’s injuries were deemed non-life-threatening by MPD.
The the perpetrator, later identified as 34-year-old Lapacus Herron, was “immediately apprehended” by the officers. He was charged of attempted aggravated robbery.
