Employees at TJ Mulligan’s on Madison Avenue say they are permanently closing their doors following a shooting that occurred outside the establishment earlier this week.
According to reports, the business was being removed from the property due to rowdy customers.
Saturday is going to be their last day of service. This comes after a story on Monday when four men attempted to break into a car in the parking lot, and exchanging gunfire with a person attempting to stop them.
Police have responded to at least 21 incidents in the same block since January, according to the Memphis Data Hub.
Robbery, motor vehicle theft, assault, and aggravated assault were among the offenses.
