In connection with the shooting death that occurred earlier this month at a food festival in Tom Lee Park, an 18-year-old woman has been taken into custody.
The suspect, Latoriania Lindsey, was charged with first-degree murder.

Officers report that at approximately 6:40 p.m. on April 13, they responded to a shooting at the Foodees Food and Culture Festival at Tom Lee Park, where they discovered a male teenager with a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family identified him as 17-year-old Anthony Smith. Lindsey was identified as a suspect in the shooting during the course of the investigation.
After a police chase in a stolen vehicle, she tried to escape on foot, along with three others, when she was caught by law enforcement.
She was arrested on April 28 on charges of criminal impersonation, avoiding arrest, and theft of property valued between $10,000 and $60,000. On Thursday morning, Lindsey is scheduled to appear in court.
