A Southaven man is recovering from being beaten and robbed after he got involved in a car accident on Monday.
According to the victim, Jeffrey Richardson, he was on his way to work when he was in an accident just before turning in to a parking lot he was hired to clean.
Richardson struck a black Chrysler 300, which spun his truck around and left him dazed.
The people in the other car returned to attack and steal from Richardson after initially leaving the scene when the crash occurred.
“All of a sudden, that car was right there in front of me,” Richardson told a WREG reporter. “It happened so fast. The only thing I could do was try to get away from it.”
In order to identify those responsible, police are taking any information as their investigation begins.
