After spending two weeks in federal prison, former state senator Brian Kelsey has been pardoned by President Trump.
In connection with his unsuccessful 2016 bid for the U.S. House of Representatives, Kelsey, a former Republican state senator from Germantown, was charged with five counts of campaign misconduct.
He had been incarcerated in Ashland, Kentucky on a 21 month sentence.
