Following a Sunday afternoon altercation with staff at Superlo Foods in East Memphis, two armed juveniles were taken into custody.
Officers were called to the grocery store on Quince Road after an aggravated assault call. A number of armed defendants were charged with causing a disturbance at the establishment.
According to the store manager, things began when one of the staff members led one of the suspects out of the building. She claims that because the suspect was stealing, he was repeatedly requested to leave the business.
At that point, the suspect, his brother, and his mother went back to the store and started fighting with the staff.
The accused were arrested when the officers came, but they were later freed and prohibited from entering the property.
