Following a shooting in the airport area on Thursday night, a man and a woman are in critical condition.
Officers were called to 1780 Nonconnah Boulevard at approximately 8:30 p.m. for an aggravated assault report, according to Memphis Police.
The victim reported that when she and her boyfriend were at a gas station, a black Infiniti came up next to her 2018 Porsche Macan, and the driver began firing multiple rounds into the car.
That’s when she got in her car and headed to the Marriott Courtyard to get assistance.
According to MPD, her car was hit forty-one times.
Both the victim’s hand and back were shot. According to reports, her lover sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his lower back leg and back.
