LOCAL | Memphis Made Brewing Announces Move From Midtown To Edge District

In order to consolidate in its new location close to downtown, Memphis Made Brewing has announced that it is closing its original Cooper-Young brewery and taproom.

The landlord is interested in expanding the facility for one of its own enterprises, according to the owners, and the lease is about to expire.

The owners of Memphis Made claimed that their downtown location had enabled them to increase distribution and that having a larger facility made sense.

One of numerous craft breweries that opened in 2013, the Cooper-Young site was the fourth to open in the Memphis market. The following year, a taproom was added.

Production started in 2023 at the more recent site, which is in the Edge District close to Madison and Lauderdale.
