According to a press announcement from the company, a significant automobile components factory in Arkansas is closing, affecting over 1,000 employees.
By mid-to late-2027, Hino Motors plans to close its Marion, Arkansas plant and exit the components manufacturing industry.
According to the firm, the 1,300-person Hino Motors plant in Marion began operations in 2006. It produces auto parts for South and Central America.
The city of Marion released a press statement acknowledging and appreciating the company’s time and contributions.
