LIFESTYLE | McDonald’s And Krispy Kreme Announce Partnership

Krispy Kreme donuts are the menu item of the future for McDonalds, as they have announced a partnership together that will be completed by 2026.

Glazed, chocolate with sprinkles, and chocolate with cream filling will be the only three kinds of donuts sold across McDonald’s across the country each morning. The plan is to boost breakfast sales for McDonald’s.

Donuts can be bought a la carte, or in boxes of six.

This is all following the recent new CosMc’s spin-off chain announced last December, that specializes in coffee and morning drinks challenging the likes of Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.

Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s USA’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, stated in a press release of the opportunities that lie ahead from the partnership.

“This partnership is an exciting next step in that journey and a chance to unlock new business opportunities in the breakfast category and throughout the day,” Hassan said. “Our fans’ love for Krispy Kreme runs deep, and we can’t wait to make it even easier for them to satisfy their sweet tooth at McDonald’s restaurants across the country.”
