TIGERS | David Jones and Jahvon Quinerly Earn Spots On All-AAC Teams

Memphis Tiger basketball has finished its regular season and the All-American Athletic Conference teams have been released ahead of the tournament with two Tigers earning spots.

David Jones, who averaged 21.7 points and 7.6 rebounds, was named one of the five players on the first team. Jahvon Quinerly, who averaged 13.7 points and five assists, made the third team all-conference.

The road to March Madness begins with conference tournaments across the nation to fight for an automatic bid in the big dance.

Memphis will play their first conference tournament match against the winner of Wichita State and Rice on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

Newstalk 98.9, the flagship station of Memphis Tiger sports, will carry each tournament game the Tigers advance in. Pre-game for Thursday will start at 1 p.m.
