CRIME SPREE UPDATE | SUSPECT IDENTIFIED

Memphis Police identified the man they say is responsible for Sunday’s crime spree that left one teen dead and others injured.

Courdarion Craft, 20, has been charged with the following: First-Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Carjacking, two counts of Aggravated Child Abuse, and two counts of Evading Arrest.

Sunday morning at 10:04, Memphis Police responded to a carjacking call. According to police reports, a blue Nissan Maxima was taken. The suspect, a 20 year old black male, was out on $100,000 bond from a charge of attempted first degree murder. Memphis Police TACT unit, US Marshalls and Shelby County Sheriff Department pursued the suspect after multiple crime scenes.

Around 3:43pm, the suspect was captured on the 5300 block of Haleville Road and taken to 201 Poplar.
