RANKINGS | Memphis debuts in the AP & USA Today Coaches poll at 23

After sending the undefeated and 13th ranked Clemson Tigers home with their first loss of the season, the now 8-2 Memphis Tigers have hit the top 25 AP poll at 23 with 274 votes. Beating Clemson gave Memphis their 3rd victory over a ranked team this year and finally some respect among voters in the AP Poll. Clemson falls to 18th after the loss. Next up- Tuesday night against 22nd ranked Virginia who are currently 9-1. FedEx Forum should be packed again for a “BLUE OUT” game. Blue 901 Tigers shirts will be handed out while they last prior to the game. Fans are asked to wear blue.
